The above two animations were part of the creative iteration of our 2023 campaign theme “On/Off”. Since we had explored this creative execution with live action in Q1 2023, I encourage our marketing partners to explore animated creative in Q3 2023 with Buck, a world class animation studio and amazing creative partner. They helped us bring the campaign theme to life with one brand awareness focused ad and one direct response/product UI focused ad.
The live action ad below was the first campaign ad I produced with Zapier for the “On/Off campaign”. Previous to this work, our ads and marketing teams were requesting work ad hoc: resulting in failure for our creative teams due to tight timelines and low priority on creative strategy. I was able to pilot a quarterly creative strategy and partnership cycle between studio creatives and our stakeholders. Since then, we have been able to create for campaigns have raised the quality bar while being more strategic and thoughtful.
The other brand pieces below are retargeting animations we use to showcase product use-cases to customers, as well as our “art in motion” library assets below. These animated art pieces were also created with Buck as expressions of the brand which can be used in social/ads and on the website.

The below video library assets were created to solve a functional need for many creative teams. They needed a library of stock video that felt unique and ownable to Capital One, but needed them to be modular and broad enough to be able to fit a lot of creative needs. This library, executed from my amazing roster of freelancer creative partners, was able to be used by internal creatives for a multitude of different marketing efforts to represent the Capital One brand to customers.

Below are some Gen-Z focused executions of ads promoting the Capital One “student card”. To help produce these ads, I suggested we work directly with our Gen-Z talent to bring them on as creative partners to ensure the work was collaborative and, most of all, authentic. The accompanying social assets are just some of the work we created specifically for Instagram and Tik-Tok as well.
The animations above were produced in 2020, when live-action production options were limited, I helped the team pivot their creative strategies to animated work. The above were produced in collaboration with Dress Code, out of NYC.
The below video was created at the photography shoot for the first ever Capital One airport lounge in Dallas, TX. We had very limited time to execute a large library of work: with a food, lifestyle and architectural photographer all working in a very small space. Our marketing partners also requested video footage they could use to promote the lounge, so we hired a videographer to “piggyback” on our still shoots, the result is a high quality, but low cost effort to maximize the output of our two shoot days. The below selected images are part of many library shoots I was able to produce at Capital One by leading our internal photography team. They include work for the Venture X card launch [travel and lifestyle collections], Capital One Dallas airport lounge opening, a brand created and led photoshoot to create a library of diverse and inclusive assets for teams to use, multiple talent and retail profiles and, my personal favorite, the Gen-Z photoshoot - an incredibly fun and authentic expression of all that is Gen-Z for an authentic library for our new-to-credit and student lines of business.
